Nice write up. Even though under sized I liked the Brannstrom pick

Don't sleep on Elvenes or Jones, either. Really good value where they were picked as they averaged as late-2nd to 3rd round and 4th to 5th round talents respectively. Top quality draft

Nice blog but draft showed no imagination and indicative of a greedy team that will wind up with just deserved busts.

Should have kept your word and made the trades. The two faced Vegas double dealing antics will burn them as rest of NHL smarting from getting worked over.

Really great draft for Vegas. Of course we won't know until a few years but as of right now I thought they really did a great job.

Hague in the second round can go either way, but he for me...may be a steal. I watched him play in Mississauga and this kid skates really well for a big man and has a mean streak. Bit of a 2 minute goon but that can be ironed out. With his offensive instincts, he's not afraid to jump below the hashies, he makes things happen. And his reach gets him out of trouble.

Of course coaches at the next level may not appreciate a guy who takes as many chances as him but at 6'6 and gets up the ice well, he could be a Hedman style D. He's not a can't miss, be he could be an absolute home run.

And Suzuki, kid never quits on the puck, prototypical 2nd line centre. I see Bozak with potential to be much better at both ends of the ice.

For a "weak" draft I think Vegas did well.

I thought the first 4 picks Vegas made were great.

Was really hoping that Hague would fall to the Leafs or they'd trade up to get him.

Sheng, you did a draft blog for the stupid Vegas team before you did one for the Kings? Da fuq? Kings are your #1 priority.

Right weak draft cause no generational players...okay then.
Hague classic pilon busting your nut over size in new speed NHL game.
Suzuki to slow and roadkill liability.

Pengy do expect Glass to make the roster out of the gate?

Great job at the draft by VGK.
Well executed selection of high floor players like Glass with lower floor high celiling players like Suzuki and Brannstrom. Looking forward to a good first season and watching the kids develop. I think this draft will prove to be much better than people generally believe.

If you guys get a Kimmo, you cherish that beautiful mother(frank)er until his final days. Next tier of player on and off the ice.

I agree. This Draft may have been missing a McDavid-type, but I think it had a lot of depth, a lot of solid players. Don't think it will be a 1999-like wasteland.

I don't think so, unless he wows in camp. It's in their best interest to not put too much pressure on him, especially considering that they project to be a not-very-good team.

Casucks fans. You (frank)ing pathetic losers can find anything to have a sandy vagina about. You guys suck at the molecular level.
